Matt is a graduate of the University of Connecticut earning both his Bachelor's and Master's in Strength and Conditioning. He is also certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Meet the Coaches
Joseph Patch the owner of NBS Training Systems, a personal training company that is solely focused on helping the dedicated achieve results no matter the level of experience, age, or goal. The only requirement is that you’re coming to train with a purpose. If you’re not serious about your goals and training then please do not inquire. NBS stands for no bullshit, meaning you won’t receive any bullshit on this end in regards to a sub par training session or quality in your programming/nutrition and in return there is no bullshit on your end in regards to effort and focus. There is 100% from both sides. With NBS Training Systems the goal is to provide you with the knowledge of proper training techniques so that you're generating the best results possible, as optimal as possible, while gaining the confidence to execute your sessions on your own. -Training- Each session is structured around teaching you how to properly execute the exercises in your program with the utmost integrity. If you have problems executing certain exercises there will be a regression then progression to help you in the process of performing said exercises. From post rehab to the nit and grit of a true mechanical failure working set, each session will be a learning experience of either the exercises or your true potential. -Programming- Just like a well structured diet helps you lose weight faster than just not eating certain foods or as much, a well structured training program helps you reach your goals faster than just going into the gym and working out. Each program is designed around your goals and how to achieve them as fast as possible while fixing imbalances, working on weak points, and making sure your balance between training and rest is respected in order to produce the best results. Each program comes with weekly(unless more frequent is needed) updates to assure things are running smooth. -Nutrition- As we all know nutrition is something that is unavoidable when it comes to achieving our performance/physique goals. Without the proper nutrition the body is not able to perform at its best nor recover optimally. Each nutrition program is specifically designed around your goals and lifestyle. Whether it’s gaining muscle tissue, losing body fat, or just properly fueling the machine, all of it can be attained. Each program comes with weekly(unless more frequent is needed) updates to assure things are running smooth.
